Sycamore, OHIO – First National Bank of Sycamore, known for its enduring commitment to supporting customers and the community, is proud to announce the promotions of four exceptional team members. These individuals have exemplified leadership, dedication, and alignment with the bank’s vision of fostering growth and providing exemplary service to consumers, businesses and the agricultural community.

Donna Peterson – Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
With 27 years at FNBS, Donna has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She began her career at the bank as a teller and held various roles throughout the organization such as Bookkeeper, IT Manager, and Controller. Donna now oversees financial planning, asset/liability management, capital planning, and risk management.
Donna is a graduate of Tiffin University and the Barret School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee. She has served the community in numerous roles, including 12 years as a volunteer EMT and she is currently the President of the Mohawk Athletic Boosters.
Grant Ekleberry – Vice President, Business Development Officer
Grant has been promoted Vice President, Business Development Officer, after six years of service. He now focuses on commercial, consumer, and residential lending, oversees marketing efforts, and serves on the bank’s investment committee managing the securities portfolio.
A Sycamore native, Grant holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration, both from Tiffin University. He is active in the community in his roles as a Barn Superintendent for the Seneca County Jr Fair and as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Tiffin Area Football Officials Association. He also has served as a high school football official for 12 years.
Lindsay Brickner – Vice President, IT & Operations Manager
With 23 years of experience at FNBS, Lindsay has been promoted to Vice President, Operations & IT Manager. She oversees network administration, back-office data processing, and digital banking services. Her career at the bank began as a teller, and she has steadily advanced through multiple IT and operations roles.
Lindsay holds degrees in Business Administration and Cyber Security from Terra Community College and Marion Technical College, respectively. She also serves as Vice President of the McCutchenville Ball Park Association.
Patrick Carey – Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer
Patrick, with 16 years at FNBS, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer. He oversees the bank’s lending functions, loan portfolio, and commercial and agricultural lending services.
Patrick, an alumnus of the University of Findlay also attended the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. He was involved in Hardin County Leadership as well as other banking education programs.
